Read recently that Matterhorn Chef in the Valley has closed.
Always loved going there every couple years or so - probably more for the kitsch value than the actual food. But having grown up in the Midwest, I've had a hankering for some "Teutonic chow" lately and am at a loss as to where to go. Black Forest Inn is long gone, don't really care for Red Lion (?) or whatever that place in Silverlake is called.
