I went there for dinner on Thursday night. Very solid experience and great meal.
Of course being a Thursday night it was very much a packed scene. That did not deter my experience at all. The service was top notch.
We started in the piano lounge and had a couple of glasses of 12 year old Macallan Scotch. They really know how to pour a drink year. About 50% larger pour then Fleming's.
The give you a great bread basket. My favorite was the pretzel bread.
I started with the Dungeness Crab Cocktail. It is served in a bowl with dry ice underneath. Very cool effect.
I then had the Ocean Club House Salad and my friend had the Beef Steak Tomato & Mozzarella. My salad was enormous. It could easily be shared. My friends was basically a caprese salad. Top notch ingredients. Very tasty. Real balsamic vineger.
I had the bone in rib-eye and my friend had the 22oz filet. Both were cooked perfectly. For sides we had sauteed mushrooms and asparagus. The mushrooms were served in the pan that they we made in.
Again, I couldn't believe how good the service was considering how packed and newly opened it was. Our server said that are only responsible for two tables at a time.
All of this and a ocean view.
