Mastering Rice

Hello, new here and looking for some advice. I have tried cooking brown rice a few different times now and have been successful with taste but I can't seem to get the texture right. Every time it seems that there is still a slight bit of crunch to the rice. Any tips? Am I simply not cooking long enough? Need more water or stock? Cooking at too high of a temperature? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
