Masterchef Junior 2/10/2015

Firegoat | Feb 10, 201509:01 PM     11

Down to the final six. Which means its time for Masterchef Junior's knock off version of Top Chef's Restaurant Wars. The kids divide into 2 teams, with Andrew and Jimmy as captains for doing well last week. Andrew gets Nathan and Jenna, while Jimmy gets Ayla and Kayla. While tiny little Riley was cute, I'm glad he was eliminated before this challenge, and I can't even imagine manic Cory in this challenge if he had stayed.
The teams are cooking for diners who have no idea that the chefs are little kids. They get a demonstration of what they are making from the chef. Gordon expedites.

There's lots of screaming (mostly on Andrew's team) yelling, flames, burns and raw food. Overall the teams do about the same food-quality wise. This just seems like a terribly brutal challenge for kids, but I guess that's what makes for TV.

In the end, the judge's decide that Andrews team is the winner. Two kids are going home from the losing team. Ayla and Kayla are the ones going home. Ayla, we hardly knew you. That leaves Andrew, Jenna, Nathan and Jimmy as the final four.
