Did I post this already? Massimo's in Venice does, indeed, have quite good gelato. Unlike that place in Beverly Hills that my buddy always takes me to (Al Gelato), this feels a bit more like a mad-scientist's lab - odd flavors, experimental flavors, some perfect, some unsuccessful. Really good hazelnut gelato.
Very nice cookies, too, among the better Italian cookies I've had on the west coast from a commercial vendor.
