Tried out Martsa's on Elm Friday night... I've heard mostly positive buzz, but sadly my experience belied that. The steamed pork momos weren't much better than the frozen-and-reheated variety and were in fact barely warm inside (my kingdom for a plate of Wang's pork-and-leek dumplings). The chicken chili and spicy tofu with mushrooms were beyond greasy, just *dripping* with oil, and were kinda on the tasteless side. Here's hoping I just caught them on a bad night!
Is there a gold standard for Tibetan food in Boston? I'm curious what the good stuff tastes like.
