Market Restaurant in Raleigh NOT to be opening any time in the foreseeable future

Ok. Here we go. I've got some good news, some bad news, some great news, and some new news. First the good news. All of you, and I mean all of you, are some of the most loyal family (yes you are considered family) that I have ever had the chance to get to know and love. For that you are awesome. And now the bad news.
Market Restaurant will not be opening up in the location on Franklin Street in downtown Raleigh. Long story short, we felt that do to some unforeseen changes in the original plan and direction of the project we were getting too far away from what we felt the project's initial point was. For this reason we will be putting Market Restaurant into a carbonite freeze until the right opportunity arises again. We have loved being a part of the community and plan on being back.
Next, the great news. I made a promise that you would get some of our great food again real soon in the Person Street Business District. Well my friend and right hand man Scott Jankovictz will be taking on the Executive Chef role at the new restaurant in the old Rosie's Plate on Person Street. I have a strong feeling Crack Fries will be on the menu. Scott is not only an incredible chef, but also an incredible friend. Please go and show some love when the new place opens up.
And finally the new news. So for the past few years I have been "tinkering" with draft systems at the restaurant. Turns out, I'm pretty good at that too (modest, right?!). This turned into another start up about a year and half ago called Eco-Tech Draft Systems, LLC. I will be focusing my energy on growing this branch of the empire.
So our FB page and Twitter will stay active, but not a lot of action on those. I'm quite sure that I will still be active with the community and special events that we have been part of in the past. I can't express enough of how much I am thankful and blessed to call Raleigh home.
