Market Bar

Had a lovely lunch yesterday afternoon at Market Bar. It's a great place to take out of town guests. The service was very accommodating.
There were 4 of us and we split a number of dishes(salad, pasta and pizza). When I asked for an extra plate (to split the dishes myself) our waitress insisted that this could be done in kitchen which was great.
We had:
I think it was a butter lettuce salad with lots of blue cheese and croutons.
Delicious pizza with chantrelle mushrooms and fresh corn (although tiny - 4 small slices- it had great flavor)
2 orders of Garganelli pasta bolognese - creamy and rich - I would order this again.
Veal Chop with some sort of mushrooms around it - I just tasted this but it was very tender with good flavor
One bottle of Sauvignon Blanc

Our total bill was just over $100.

We skipped dessert and picked up some fresh marshmallows at Michael Recchiuti
A perfect afternoon!
