M & L Market - 14th at Mission

So, my friend, John, and I were wondering where to go eat today for lunch, and he recalled reading in someone's blog about M & L, a sandwich shop across the street from Market St. Safeway, next door to World Sausage.

We headed in there, and I ordered the Turkey and Pastrami Sandwich on 9-Grain bread and veggie chili soup. Sandwiches come with two almond cookies, and I bought a Jones Soda Company Cream Soda. John ordered the Roast Beef on dark rye, a cup of macaroni salad, and a Dr. Pepper. We got out of there for $14.50.

Wow! That sandwich was loaded with yummy goodness - piled high with turkey and pastrami - the place is a steal! And the little old Chinese lady that runs it is a hoot!
