Went back to Marjan kabob house (ate there last year too), and had a great meal. They expanded their menu since the last time we were there. The kabobs are still great but now they have salads, stews and more appetizers. Lamb stew was excellent. There was a chicken stew also with pomegranate and maybe dates and walnuts, a little sweet for my taste but also really well done.
Service is really excellent - it's a family operation, the owner is there with what looks like her father and daughter. It's a small and cozy place - feels almost like you're in their living room.
Prices are reasonable, plus we brought food home for lunch the next day. Also, it's BYOB with no corkage fee which is awesome, as we saved a bunch by bringing our own bottle.
A great addition to the neighborhood, definitely give it a try.
