Mariscos and Scones

Zoe | Apr 20, 200502:44 AM

Had a rush lunch at the Mariscos truck on East Whittier Blvd east of Fraser (about the 4900) block. Huge line. My partner stood in line while I stayed parked in the red zone and she arrived back with a marvellous cocteil of big, well flavored shrimp in a really lightly peppery broth with shaved avocado and chopped onion (lots) plus three tacos with broiled shrimp which she prounced divine. This plus a soda was less than $10.

On the way back we went to Clementines for a revival cup of coffee, an apricot blueberry scone and a ginger scone. If that wasn't worth the trip. That baker sure knows how to bake.

Took the day off from dieting for six months - back on the liquid now (PS it works).
