Spotted a new taco truck this morning on the northwest corner of the intersection of Hwy 12 and Melita Road in Santa Rosa (across the highway from the Unocal station). There's a signal light at that corner making it easy to access, plus plenty of parking. In addition to the full range of meats for tacos, burritos and tortas, this truck also has eggs for breakfast and many seafood dishes.

I tried a coctel campechana ($7) which was tender prawns and octopus in citrusy tomato water with sweet red onion, ripe diced tomatoes, avocado, and cilantro. Extra limes and corn chips were provided on the side. The blend was a bit too sweet from too much catsup, I think, so I could have used even more limes. But it was freshly prepared and a good effort. I'd go back to try more items.

The owner speaks good English. He says he will be parked at this location on Mondays and Fridays from 10:30am to 5pm.
