Hi there-is it safe to marinate ribs (I have a lot) in a disposable aluminum foil roaster pan? I'm using an Asian marinade with the main acid being black vinegar. Thanks!!
For how long? A couple of hours _should_ be OK, though there's some chance they'd might pick up a faint metallic flavor. I definitely wouldn't let them sit in it any longer, though.
Ziploc (and other companies) make storage/freezer bags in a 2-gallon size, which would be my preference for something irregularly shaped like ribs, anyway...
I think you probably could if it's not too long but you could also try lining them with plastic.
Don't do it. The acid and aluminum chemically react.
