What's better for marinara sauce, canned San Marzano, or fresh roma tomatoes?

I'm making ravioli marinara this weekend. There aren't many options right now where I live, but I can choose between canned San Marzano tomatoes, or fresh (but not very good) roma. What would make the better sauce?
