another marinade question

Per my previous post, I am planning to serve a flank steak, served with arugula/cherry tomatoes, and roast potatoes. What kind of marinade would work well with this match? Originally thinking something along the lines of soy/maple/garlic/ginger, but not sure it'll work here...
