How to get Marianne's Ice Cream in a store near you.

... and get that store to carry your favorite flavor.

I stopped by Mariannes's as I was passing through Santa Cruz. I found out that the owner likes to deal with small independent stores and not chains. That is why he sells to Tower Market, which, it turns out, is the only store in SF to carry this ice cream.

If you know of such a store, (and probably restaurant) I was told you could contact Marianne's and they would see if the store would be interested in carrying the ice cream.

For anyone buying the ice cream from Tower, if you have a favorite amoung the 71 flavors that is not being stocked, again call Marianne's and they will work with Tower to bring that flavor on the next delivery.

The number to call is (831)458-1445. You would talk to Sam or Dorothy Lieberman.

I haven't tried this though I might during the holidays when I get a craving for pumpkin or apple pie ice cream.

I wasn't even trying to get this info. I just mentioned that I was glad they were carrying Marianne's at Tower, but wanted to stop by because there were limited flavors.

I ordered a cup of the peach ice cream which I ate by the beach with some Swanton strawberries I bought driving down route 1.
