Marcus Samuelsson's pop-up at Lincoln Center

coasts | Sep 13, 201105:15 PM

Passed by Lincoln Center last night and noticed banners outside of Alice Tully Hall announcing Marcus Samuelsson's Global Street Cart pop-up restaurant. Unfortunately they had stopped serving already, so I made plans to go back this evening. Very glad I did. It'll be open for just another two nights, closing Sept. 15th. Apparently MS is thinking to occupy the space permanently, but with a different menu.

Ms. Coasts and I shared Mexican corn on the cob, Doro Wat with Injera bread (an Ethiopian chicken stew not unlike Ropa Vieja), and Chicken Barbacoa tacos. I'd recommend any of the three, but especially the Doro Wat.
