Restaurants & Bars

I had dinner at March saturday night with my wife and good friends. On a very serious note, this was one of the best meals that I've ever had definitely in the top 5 over a period of 15 years. We all tried different dishes on the menu with a couple of dupes (vegetable fricasee) and lamb being the other. Total of 16 different courses with the main courses, I won't go into a blow by blow of food www.marchrestaurant to look for menu. but as rare as this is, with the exception of 1 dish that shouldn't have been brought to the table shrimp tempura which they let us keep and brought the right course. The food was superb all the way around. Service was very attentive without being pushy in any way. Wayne Nish is one of New York's Best chefs without question. With a cote-rotie and a white that evades me, bill came to 500 even without tip. I know March hasn't been reviewed all that favorably on these boards but I have to say that Saturday night was one of the best meals that I've had and that is really saying somethung Regards Caz
