Our next cookbook of the month will be Jubilee: Recipes from Two Centuries of African-American Cooking by Toni Tipton-Marton.
We can use this thread to share our excitement, questions, and thoughts about our upcoming selection before our reporting threads go up on March 1. Also, feel free to post links here to any online recipes from either of the books. This will offer recipe options to those who may not be able to access the book but would like to cook with us.
Here's how we got here:
*nomination thread: https://www.chowhound.com/post/march-...
*voting thread: https://www.chowhound.com/post/march-...
Here's our archive of Cookbook of the Month winners: https://www.chowhound.com/cookbook_of.... We always enthusiastically welcome reports on any prior COTM, so please post any recipes you cook from past selections.
**Newcomers** -- if you've never experienced the creativity and camaraderie of Cookbook of the Month, we would love to have you! No experience necessary. Just plan to make a dish from the book and post your report in March, with bonus points for photos of the dish. We're a warm and welcoming bunch and we love it when our group grows to include new participants! :)
A big thank you to all who participated in our selection process by nominating and voting. Be well!
