Marble Cruller Twist - Where?

John Williams | Jun 15, 2006 09:43 AM

Years ago I worked down by Wall Street and used to patronize this little doughnut shop on William Street. They had the best doughnuts I have ever had, bar none.

My favorite was this marble cruller twist. Not round like a doughnut but like a doughnut stick - maybe about 6 inches long, one side regular, the other side chocolate. Deep fried of course :) followed by a glaze of sugar stuff.

Are these things still around? Anyone know of a place in the city or NJ that has them ( I live in NJ).
