It's where I'll be for three weeks and would love any tips. Mar del Plata is located five hours from Buenos Aires and supposedly has a good gastronomy. My favorite Argentine cuisine is Andean from the Northwest region. I doubt that I'll find much humitas, buñuelos, and api in MDP, but can anyone could point out a good empanada place? I tend to like my food cheap but flavorful.
Also looking for recommendations for sandwiches de miga joints and food truck parillas similar to what you find on the far side of Puerto Madero by the Reserva Ecologico.
