Just a quick note to recommend this wonderful place.
The lunch tapas (not "small plates" as all the tapas fill a large dinner plate) are a true bargain (5.95-7.95). Two will fill you (even without the complimentary loaf of bread w/ tapanade).
They have an extensive wine list, but oddly it's almost exclusively Spanish (with a few French and Argintine thrown in).
Service is warm if a little too enthusiastic.
I've had lunch here a few times and was the only patron each time. Have not been for dinner , but assume they must do better at dinner to have stayed in business. I think they are just as tasty as Jaleo (with same priced but double sized portions) and I'm guessing you can also get seated quickly - I don't think they get any tourist foot traffic.
Standouts tapas include: shrimp al ajillo (about 20-24); asparagus(8) w/ sorrnto ham (about 4oz) and mixed green salad w/ reggiono parmasean; grilled octopus; ceviche mixto.
