Hello fellow Chowhounds!
My husband and I are serious chowhounds and are going to the Maritimes for 2 weeks in October. I have read with interest the postings re: Nova Scotia (thank you David Corcoran). I've also been doing lots of internet research and found a swish website for Maple in Halifax...any feedback? Also - are there any local markets to pick up local cheeses, seafood, produce etc. for self-catering? I know this sounds awful, but is there anywhere to get our sushi fix in the Maritimes?
We're Vancouverites and realize how lucky we are out here to have such fantastic multicultural restaurants...we're so happy to see the great response and feedback on this site!
