Manuel's, in Austin (to Greg)

Talking to you the other night I meant to mention what I especially liked about Manuel's: I think they make the best flautas (you can try both sauces on one plate), a great mole, the very best fried shrimp (and by-the-way I vote Threadgill's for the Very Worst Fried Shrimp), a very tasty Campachana (which is half-price along with all the other appetizers during happy hour), excellent Veracruzana (fish or shrimp), and a fine FroNo.

They will also custom make a plate for you, and not overcharge for the service. For instance you may order one enchilada and one flauta, with no sides, for pretty cheap, or whatever you like.

And I do prefer the downtown location.
