Manora's is of the "old school". Traditional wood carved decor; fresh orchid flowers grace the appetizer plates. Not the hipster, sleek, urban atmosphere like Thai House Express.
I particularly enjoyed the makeur paad prik - sauted japanese eggplant with prawn, chicken and pork in spicy basil garlic sauce. The sauce is savory and sweet simultaneously. So enjoyable, I could eat it daily.
Manora's prices are $1-2 less than than its hipster competition. Parking is an un San Francisco dream. Street parking is easy at Folsom and 12th.
