Manhattan Restaurant Recs w/3 kids

Booked a family trip to NYC with my wife and three kids in early October. Would like to go to a nice Italian restaurant that is somewhat family friendly -- my kids are adventurous eaters but I'm not sure they could handle a 7 course tasting menu. We only have Balthazar right when we get in town for an early lunch plus Momofuku Noodle Bar Fried Chicken dinner at 5:30.

Also, want to get them some pizza. There are so many good pizza options it's a little overwhelming but I'm sure we can find something.

Anything else that we shouldn't miss? I haven't been in a decade.
