My Manhattan Dream Begins Tomorrow!

mariacarmen | Apr 13, 201511:38 PM

I've been lurking about this board for a few weeks now, in preparation for our week-long trip that starts Tuesday afternoon (we are staying in a condo in Tribeca) and ends at 6-ish the following Tuesday. I've also got friends who've given me some reccs. We aren't going to do a lot of high-end, and the BF loves him some red-sauce Italian. I've been dying to try really good xiaolong bao and sichuanese, and Chowhound buttertart has been more than helpful in suggesting places for those and other wondrous things. We don't really do breakfast out, though we'll probably grab a BEC every now and then on the sage advice of CH-er roxlet. Momofuku Ssam & Spotted Pig are two I won't pass up, and Shopsins is my guilty pleasure. Russ & Daughters will be for snacking purposes, late night and bfast in (for me; the BF can't abide most fish).

The rest are all under consideration, along with nightly drinks at the diviest bar i could find nearish to our place, Nancy Whiskey Pub. The only set plans for sightseeing are a play at Wooster in Brooklyn, and the Bjork exhibit at MOMA, as well as as many art galleries as we can hit.

anything glaring about this list? either to omit or add to?
I know we won't hit but maybe a third of these - again, they're options to choose from (especially all the Eye-talian places (and yeah, i do know these are not all red-sauce places)). We tend to only eat one large meal a day and walk a LOT. Don't really care about desserts, though the BF will probably grab a non-artisanal donut now and again for his coffee at the apt.
