Mangrove Mama's is a hole-in-the-wall, or more specifically a hole-in-the-mangroves, Caribbean kind of place, with colorful decor and mismatched tablecloths.
At dinner, the black and bleu fish sandwich was just wonderful, mahi mahi blackened and with blue cheese, and excellent French fries. The fried calamari came with cocktail sauce and tartar sauce, and was light and greaseless. Also terrific was the cream of crab soup and mushroom soup. A powerful shot of sherry cut the richness of the soup.
