My fiance and I went last night for Valentine's Day and were very disappointed...although he liked the food more than I did, we both agreed the service was terrible!!! First off...they had a fixed menu that you choose one out of 2 apps and one out of 2 salads then an intermezzeo (a lemon sorbet) then one out of 4 entrees and then one out of 2 desserts. We had reservationsd for 7 pm and were seated right away. There were 12 tables in total and 2 waitresses. We didn't get our apps until 7:45, our salads till 8:15...the sorbet came at 8:45 and our entrees 8:50 then dessert at 8:55! Never once did the unattentive waitresses apologize or even acknowlege the timliess. At one point after we finised the salads I saw one waitress with a tray of 4 sorbets. She sat them down on a counter and forgot about them..I watched them melt for a half an hour. Luckliy she didn't bring those to us! To top it off, when cleaing off our plates after the salad, the waitress picked up the fork by the tines and put it back on the table for us to use again! The other waitress spent the majority of her night talking to the table of people next to us and then telling the people who were waiting for their tables for over 20 minutes (and had reservations) that they were "so busy all night"...could have fooled me! Despite the poor service, the food was okay...I would like to try the place again for some of their pastas which are supposed to be great but definatly for takeout! Hopefully they are a better establishment with a non-fixed menu and not on a holiday! Oh yeah...it was 40 bucks a person...defianlty not worth it! And one more thing...has anyone heard of serving edamame as a side veg with an italian chicken dish???? I love edamame but this was not the right fit for it...maybe it's an italian thing I don't know about. All in all, bad dining experience but we will never forget it!
We had funny laughing at the situation as it got worse and worse...our bottle of wine we brought made it more bearable! We probably would have been better off getting take out from the Olive Garden!
