So I went to this small, funky bistro on the non-official recommendation of my concierge.....Wow! Enjoyed a rich bisque with huge chunks of crab and a crunchy-spicy crab cake, mixed green salad with warm figs and a particulary pungent blue cheese, and my striped bass over fresh artichoke hearts, garlic, cherry tomatoes, and mint(!) still makes me want to return on my next trip. Service was adequate, extremely laid back, kinda chic. Value was exceptional with a tab of 40 bucks before tax or tip. No room for dessert, maybe next time. My biggest gripe is the lack of non-smoking, but since I smoke (but not while eating) I could deal. Anyone else have a similiar experience, or can recommend a stress free, but quality meal for my return in three weeks?
