Mandolin recommendation

steelykal | Dec 25, 2014 01:28 PM

I asked my husband for the second year in a row for a new mandolin. He gave me OXO mandolins two years in a row. I hate them. Seems cheaply made and I don't like that I can't slice paper thin, which is why I want a new one. I have a Bron that I've had for 15 years, but the blade seems to be dull and the adjustment lever is very stiff. Anyone know if there is a place that could service a mandolin? Or a recommendation for a professional level mandolin?
