Posh-ish kebab shop with lots of seating, guaranteeing its always packed, lunch and evenings. Folk popping in for a takeaway; local families having dinner with kids, late evening hang-out for the Asian teens. .
Good sharwama - chicken or lamb. Eating in, it comes with a crisp mixed salad, splodge of chili sauce; big dollop of hummus and bread. They'd run out this evening , so I had the standard shish. Very good quality lamb came with above accompaniements - cost £3.70. They also do a good line in veggie mezze plates.
One of the better places to eat along the "curry mile" (see also portseven's recent "dosa" thread for mention of the Punjab, which is just a couple of doors down - I'd forgotten their extensive list of dosas and the veggie offerings)
