Another successful concoction down the gullet at lunch time.
I defrosted a homemade chorizo pattie, and fried it in a little EVOO breaking it up as it cooked. To the chorizo, I added some homemade bean and cabbage soup along with a 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
I sometimes get these crazy ideas, but this one really worked out well. It tasted great!! There was a little perspiration running down my forehead from the pungent stuff. That's proof of a good thing.
BTW, the chorizo was made with boneless country ribs that I ground at home using on old-fashioned manual meat grinder. To the ground meat, 4 kinds of chile powder obtained from Pendery's were added.
