Mamma Francesca's fixed price winter meals...

gutreactions | Jan 14, 2008 05:44 AM

If you're a bit tapped out from the holidays right now the new 2008 fixed price winter meals at Mamma Francesca Restaurant in New Rochelle may be a good deal...Heard about them starting up again after a two year hiatus and wandered over...served every day, there are 3-courses at lunchtime ($11.08 p.p.) with extras and 4 courses at dinner ($20.08 p.p.). We've already tried such specialties as: Loin or Pork Marsala, Penne Vodka, combo of Meatballs, Sausage and Chicken Cacciatore, and Veal & Sausage. Like their house baked brick oven bread too, great for lapping up those gravies...Rustic southern Italian all the way and generous portions...don't have young ones around any longer, but was glad to see that kids can eat free from the children's menu all day on Sundays which should be a boon for families...
