Does anyone know where in the SW 'burbs (Besides Oberweis) one can experience the malt vs. milkshake? What do Steak and Shake restaurants offer?
What are the basic differences between the two? In home preparation, does one really need to spend money on a malt machine (unfortunately my elder father picked up a crazy idea from somewhere and as seniors often do, he is stuck in 4th gear)?
To me, milkshake, mexican liquado, smoothie, malt they all appear to be about the same and any hi-speed blender will turn out a drink.
Oberweis uses the same blenders for all their ice cream shakes.
