Malaysian Style curry and food in ' Madam Kuan ', Vivo City

Charles Yu | Mar 19, 201601:48 PM     3

After an enjoyable but exhaustive day at Universal Studio and the Singapore Aquarium on Sentosa. My wife and I met up with my cousin across the waterway, in Vivo City, for a meal of local Malaysian food and delicacies at Madam Kuan.

The meal, full of dishes dominated by aromatic herbs and spices, coconut cream and peanut, was delicious, albeit a bit heavy and greasy. Meat portions in the dishes were huge resulting in our over-ordering by a mile! Again, you guessed right - we were stuffed!

Tasty Malaysian Chicken Curry. However, taste was a bit ' generic ' and wasn't as complex as the version I had at Holland Landing a few years ago.

Beef Rendang. Lovely flavor and not too spicy

Chicken and Beef Satays

Delicious generous bowl of dip for the Satays

Stirred fry Okra and Asparagus. Surprisingly tasty

Tons of goodies to be discovered under the layer of shaved ice.

Good, but we were soooo full by then!
