MALATESTA review

we went to MALATESTA yesterday afternoon. its on west christopher street past hudson. overall a great casual and reasonably priced italian.

we had a 1/2 carafe of sangiovese. i had a delicious and not too rich spinach gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. she had a house special spaghetti with homemade fresh noodles, fresh mozarella and tomatos.

service was very friendly and smooth even tho there was only one server at the time and he was slammed. we ended with cappuchino and espresso over the usual tasty looking if standard dessert offerings.

cost was $ 40. dont forget MALATESTA--go for it!
