Mako Omakase & Etiquette ?

Hornacho | Mar 3, 200505:43 PM

I want to try Mako and order omakase. My girlfriend, however, has a smaller appetite and feels it is a waste for her to order omakase. She would rather order a la carte. Does that cause any problem for the chef or the timing of the meal? Also, in regards to etiquette, is sharing a taste of my different plates with my girlfriend frowned upon? I don't want to offend the chef. Thanks for your responses. Hornacho
