Making soft shell crabs with Old Bay...

eating out | Jun 22, 2004 11:44 AM

So, being a fan of the lighter fried soft shell crab variety, that is to say, sauteed rather than deep fried, I and a chowish friend have decided to make our own. I saw a recipe on the general board that sounds delish, dredged in a lil flour and some Old Bay seasoning, then sauteed in butter...

Haven't been to the grocery store yet, but does anyone know, will I be able to get Old Bay somewhere around here, either at Shaws or Whole Foods or Trader Joe's?

I'm gonna pick up the softies at Wulf's in Brookline, anyone tried these or know of another place to get them?

Thanks everyone!
