I've never made ice cream, and I have some very ripe peaches....so.....I've been searching the internet for ice cream recipes and have found recipes that call for everything from peach jello (is there really such a thing) to sour cream. I love peach ice cream -- slightly chunky. I can borrow a friend's ice cream maker. Does someone have a good basic recipe that involves sugar, cream, peaches and not much else (although since I've never made ice cream, maybe there are other essential ingredients)? As I understand it, there will be cooking involved. I'm not looking for a science project, just dessert. Thanks.
