Making ginger juice tip

I like to add ginger to some dishes but don't like it to be chunky.
I like it in miso soup especially.
Recently I peeled and rough chopped about 3 T and put it in the small spice grinder and added about 4 T water.
The spice grinder basically liquified the ginger in a minute. I poured it through a fine tea strainer and had 'ginger juice'.
