Making appetizers from puff pastry shells

karykat | Dec 28, 201608:54 PM     1

I sent my significant other to the store to buy a few boxes of puff pastry sheets. (I was going to use them for starburst appetizers.) He came back with a bunch of boxes of frozen puff pastry shells. The kind you use to make chicken pot pie type things. So I'm trying to think of good uses for them. I need to bring appetizers to a weekly gathering. So what should I do? I was thinking of making kind of puff pastry cheese straws, by cutting the shells cross-wise and then in half so the pieces are arc shaped and then using those to make cheese straws. They would be curved not straight. Any other ideas? All ideas are appreciated.
