I'm trying to decide where to go for a few days and food is going to be a big part of my decision. My husband and I are planning to go for two days in mid April, mid week.
We like to hike, sleep, and eat. Keeping to chow on this board, so I will find out about hotels and hiking elsewhere (unless you want to sneak it in.)
Coming from NYC so would probably stick to more sea food and local places. Can't find a decent lobster roll in NY to save your life. Love hole in the wall diners and local hangouts. Don't need anything fancy.
I haven't been to Bar Harbor since I was little but I love Acadia and thought it would be a good spot. How are the restaurants there? Anythign amazing?
I've been to Camden and am not interested in going there on this trip.
Been to Boothbay, but only for a wedding so didn't venture out.
Never been to Kennebunkport, good restaurants there?
Any other spot that I shouldn't miss?
Thanks! Can't wait to get back to Maine!!!
