Tried this place last Saturday night. I must say that the marinated sirloin was as good, if not better, than Rendevous in Riverhead. The prices are better as well (19.99 at Magiks which includes a salad, veggies, and a potato). The atmosphere was a mini version of Rendevous, I mean really mini. There were probably 8 tables in the entire restaurant. My glass of water was not actually a glass, but a plastic cup, and the waitress, there was only one, was slowly wandering around the tiny quarters as if none of the table were filled (not the case, the entire place was filled and there were partrons at the bar waiting to be seated. We enjoyed the scenery and expect that the clientele changes quite a bit during the summer months.
In sum, it was a nice change from Star Boggs and Baby Moon, which are our usual stomping grounds.
