Received a dim sum cookbook for Christmas and made a wonderful shrimp wonton soup over the weekend. Found everything I needed for the recipe except *maggi sauce*. Does anyone have a clue what this is, where I might find it, and whether it is something I can make at home?
The cookbook (from Barnes and Noble) is written in Chinese and English and occasionally I think things got lost in translation. Example: One ingredient called for *1 teablespoon*....tee hee. But the end product was wonderful and we've lived off of it for two days!!
