I just bought a couple of mackerel filets at the Asian market in my area last night. I broiled them for a few minutes on each side slathered in a miso sauce i use for Black Cod. This was excellent. I was wondering if anyone had a recipe for the fish similar to the style you get in japanese restaurants. I am assuming you just make teriyaki sauce, slather it on fish and broil. Would this be correct or are there any other tips and tricks.
