I read J. Gold’s Macau Street review a while back. Over the weekend we decided to check it out.
We had a great meal. The Dungeness crab comes separated into pieces and fried with a ton of garlic. We ordered three, one for each of us, but they came all lumped together on a large platter. It needed a little salt. But I’ve never had crab like that and we all liked it.
The shrimp came with the skin on. I often eat shrimp that way if the skin is soft because you get the most flavor. But the shrimp was not spicy enough and needed more salt. Maybe they forget the MSG that day. But it was nice eat while we were waiting for the crab.
The pork neck was nothing to write home about but the egg custard desserts were warm sweet delicious treat.
We pretty much ordered what Gold told us or you can order from the House Special section of the menu – it even has photos.
