In search of the holy grail of homemade Macaroons, I put together a batch from a recipe a Chowhounder so kindly provided.
Thanks Bistrodraw, these were light years ahead of the last throw-away batch.
However, there seems to be something missing from this coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, flour and salt version. And is sweetened condensed milk always so thick and funky?
Anyone have the MISSING LINK (ingredient) to Macaroon Nirvana?
