Ma Peche or Noodle Bar

mstout2 | Feb 14, 2012 01:54 PM

Hi - I will be in NYC this weekend and am trying to decide between these two restaurants. I have dinner reservations at Ma Peche for Friday night, but am also interested in going to the Noodle Bar. I will be staying in midtown, so Ma Peche will be close by; however, I much prefer lower areas of the city and would not mind venturing south to the East Village - especially if there are more interesting bars around there for afterwards.

Both menus look good to me.

Thoughts/Preferences? How long of a wait should I expect at the Noodle Bar around 8pm on a Friday? (I am okay to wait, but would like to prepare myself). Do you have to wait at the bar or do they call you after checking in?

Thanks,
Melanie
