I was planning to make John Thorne's Pecan Pie recipe for Christmas. The only golden syrup available in my area without having to mail-order is Lyle's Squeezy Golden Syrup. It seems to have the same consistency as corn syrup. But I'm wondering if it's the same as the golden syrup that comes in the tin, or if it's been watered down for the squeeze bottle. Anyone have any input for me?
